The sports day commenced with an inspiring opening ceremony, where teams paraded proudly, waving flags and displaying their group colors. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the athletes prepared to showcase their skills and compete for the honor of representing their house and their school. The ground was a spectacle to behold, adorned with flags and filled with enthusiastic supporters, creating an electric atmosphere that set the stage for an extraordinary day of sports. Horizon Academy Sinnar celebrated its HoSin Annual sports 2023-24 on Tuesday, 19th December, amidst great enthusiasm and camaraderie. The Hon. Principal Mr. Nithish Nair greeted guests and dignitaries with flowers and formal greetings, and gave a speech on the importance of sports. The event had its grand opening with the lighting of the lamp by the guests and the Principal. The ground was filled with cheer, gaiety and excitement as various events took place.
All the inter house final sports event were organised on last day. It was an exciting day for the students and the end of the day was filled with lots of nostalgic memories of the eventful week. These were highly competitive event where the four houses eyed for the first place.It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish. The principal of this esteemed institution, Mr. Nithish Nair thanked all the teachers for their cooperation and support and advised children to keep up their sportsman spirit. At last all students participated in the closing ceremony of our annual sports day and we will hope such healthy competition in the near future as well.
To honour the outstanding sports achievements the HoSin Annual Sports 2023-24 Prize Distribution ceremony was organized on Saturday 23rd of December. The event was observed with great interest by the students and their mentors. Our honourable Principal Mr. Nithish Nair and PTM graced the distinguished occasion with warm presence and honoured the young sports achievers with certificates, trophies and medals for their unsurpassed sportsmanship. The Red House lifted the Overall Championship Trophy for the academic year 2023-24. Best Performance of Boys and girl trophy was bagged by Mast. Hussain Shah and Miss. Anushka Gojare.The event was accomplished with the famous saying, ‘winners win, winners lose, but winners play’.
