Horizon Academy, Sinnar believes that learning by doing has a profound impact on the development of scientific temper in the student community. Horizon Academy, Sinnar celebrated National Science Day 2024 on 28th of February 2024 in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, the Indian physicist and Nobel prize winner. Our respected Principal Mr. Nithish Nair graced the programme. The event was started by lamp lighting and idol worship. The keynote address was delivered by Principal. He emphasized the need to go beyond textbooks and imbibe the knowledge from all the spheres for the overall development of any child. He encouraged and motivated students to take up challenges and put efforts to achieve excellence in their life.
On the occasion of ‘National Science day’ there were Poster, Models, presentation, rangoli, debate, robotic model and slogan competitions by science department. More students participated in all events. Students were shown their creative ideas and knowledge in posters and models.
