Language plays an essential role in our lives as it helps in communication. It is prominent for an individual as it broadens their minds, develops emotional skills, improve the quality of life by providing employment opportunities.
Keeping this in mind, Horizon Academy Sinnar celebrated ‘World English language day’ on 23rd April as it marks the occasion of William Shakespeare’s birth anniversary as well as his death anniversary. The main objective is to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity by exploring the language.
A plethora of activities were planned by the teachers in order to create and cherish beautiful memories for everyone. The student participated in activities poem recitation, fancy dress, book review, single act, poster making, tongue twister and book mark enthusiasm. Beautiful dance performance by the students of Grade 7th and 8th.Lastly the speech issued by the school, Principal Mr. Nithish Nair, said that, “English language not only adds a touch of convenience to communication in general but has been a gateway to art in the form of literature of lots of writers around the globe. Every day is a celebration of this beautiful language by itself but any one day specially dedicated towards the language makes it even more special.”
